Business model
Unlike other consultancies, we charge a fixed price on what you, our client, want to achieve, and charge for our services only after our client has achieved the results we have agreed on. This minimizes your risk, and your success becomes our success. The model we choose depends on the assignment and your needs. A selection of some of the models/phases you might expect to find in an offer from us are listed below.
Positioning
We help you to position your company so that you are unique in precisely the right way, so that your customers want to purchase from you today - not in five years' time - which means that your (market) value is impacted within 6 to 12 months and remains relatively higher.
You pay a fixed price that is divided up into several parts. Once you feel that we have arrived at your unique market position, we charge you our first part payment; once you feel that we have demonstrated its uniqueness in relation to the market, that's when we charge you our next part payment, and so on.
Packaging
We help you to package a completely new or adjusted value offering and a coordinated sales process that involves selling to new accounts and to positions that are higher up in your current clients' organizations. The sales process is to include a combination of increased volumes, improved knowledge about the end customer and streamlining into a well-oiled machine or process in which more than 80% of employees are working in the same manner according to the new sales process and doing so successfully. The previous 20/80 distribution, that is, that only 20% of sales personnel are successful, is turned around to 80/20, which means that at least 80% of sales personnel and managers are able to sell successfully using one and the same methodology and achieve their targets.
You pay a fixed price divided into part payments, one of which is payable at the time of placing your order and engaging our services which we call the engagement part. The remaining part payments are made after you have approved delivery of each respective step in the process.
Garnering support
Garnering support for the new positioning, the new value offering, the new sales process, the new delivery process or of whatever you have chosen to package is affected in different ways for different types of organizations. The process of garnering support may be applicable to one or more owners, the board, the management and organization, or to a pilot group who will be the first to work in the new way. This process is extremely important and is really where the project that is soon to be realised is honed and tempered. Everyone involved must understand "Why", "What" and "How" as well as what he or she as an individual is to do and has to gain.
Charges are only incurred after the preparatory work has been presented and approved, and after the group exercise in garnering support has been completed and the group has arrived at a positive consensus.
Implementation
This phase involves us working concretely with your organization or a pilot group deploying the strategies and processes that have been decided on and the new packaging of your offering to ensure that you are able to work hands-on with your current customers. We are directly involved in selling, delivering, coaching - in both groups and individually. In addition, we stimulate the transfer of our knowledge and tempo to your organization. The faster we manage to get you to succeed, the more rapidly we are paid and the sooner we can phase ourselves out of the project. Thus, we have the same interests and goals as you.
Together we will have developed an appendix to our fixed-price contract containing 40 to 60 steps, each of which are steps in one of the process stages. A fixed price is attached to each step, the point in time at which it is to have been achieved at the latest, and the criteria for approval of the results. This document (the How document) describes what each respective improvement comprises, how it is to occur, within what period of time the organization is to have completed this step, and finally the remuneration to Reforce once the organization has achieved the improvement in question. You approve each step and if, in your view, we have not succeeded, you have the right to refuse payment and immediately discontinue work on any further steps.
Joint Venture
Reforce starts up the new position/strategy/offering or what has been repackaged, under your brand or another brand. This is done either with an independent group inside your company or as a separate limited company, where the parties have already agreed upon the form of payment to be made when the group or the company is later incorporated into your main organization. What has been newly packaged will succeed faster under this alternative, as not as much time will be consumed in transferring a working knowledge of it to your organization. This part is also used as the proof of concept, that is, to demonstrate that the new strategy works in practice before the strategy of the entire group of companies is changed. A "How" document also controls payment via commissions based on increased profit margins and valuation.
